U.S. Marine Corps Maj. Gen. Jason G. Woodworth, commander of Marine Corps Installations Command and assistant deputy commandant for Marine Corps Installations and Logistics, greets Cpl. Nicholas Martinez during a tour of services and capabilities Dec. 10 at Marine Corps Support Facility Blount Island in Florida. The Warrior Athlete Readiness and Resilience Room, or WARR Room, was made possible by funding from Marine Corps Semper Fit and Recreation, which supports Marine health and wellness through prevention-focused programs that build readiness, expand resiliency and develop capability. Col. Luke Watson, commanding officer of Blount Island Command, led the tour, which highlighted key operational and logistical activities on the facility, along with new and emerging support services, including the WARR Room, police station and barber shop.
