U.S. Marine Corps Maj. Gen. Jason G. Woodworth, commander of Marine Corps Installations Command and assistant deputy commandant for Marine Corps Installations and Logistics, visits a site for a new barber shop during a tour of services and capabilities Dec. 10 at Marine Corps Support Facility Blount Island in Florida. The facility is the hub of the Marine Corps’ prepositioning programs. It's the home of Blount Island Command and its worldwide mission supporting Marine expeditionary forces. Col. Luke Watson, commanding officer of Blount Island Command, led the tour, which highlighted key operational and logistical activities on the facility, along with new and emerging support services, including the Warrior Athlete Readiness and Resilience Room, or WARR Room, police station and barber shop.
