PORT HUENEME, Calif. (Dec. 19, 2024) – The Honorable Kenko Sone, Consulate-General of Japan in Los Angeles, met with Capt. Angel Santiago, Commodore, Naval Construction Group One (NCG 1), for a visit to Naval Base Ventura County Port Hueneme and tour of NCG 1 construction equipment Dec. 19, 2024. NCG 1 is responsible for manning, training, equipping and deploying combat-ready Naval Construction Force units in support of combatant commanders and Navy component commanders.
