Dr. Edith Eva Eger, clinical psychologist and Holocaust survivor, speaks to Naval Medical Center San Diego staff in commemoration of Holocaust Remembrance Day, April 2. Eger spoke about her experiences in concentration camps, how she mentally overcame those hardships to become the successful woman she is today, and also expressed her gratitude towards the U.S. armed forces for saving her from the Nazi death camps.
