Maj. Gen. John C. Harris Jr., Ohio adjutant general, left views a painting in a church in Pranjani, Serbia, Sept. 21, 2024. Harris was attending an event to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Operation Halyard, the mission to rescue downed U.S. and Allied Airmen from occupied Serbia during the waning months of World War II.
