Lt. Cmdr. Ryan Richmond, Naval Hospital Jacksonville ophthalmologist and department head of ophthalmology, examines a patient’s eye, looking for signs of glaucoma. It’s important to get your eyes examined at least every two to three years, even without glasses.” Glaucoma risk factors include family history, high eye pressure, and thin cornea thickness.
