Navy Gateway Inns & Suites (NGIS) Great Lakes General Manager George Lang (right), Great Lakes Navy Exchange General Manager Chris Ponchak (center left), Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM) employees and Director of Maritime Operations for the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery Capt. Lynelle M. Boamah (Center right) who is staying at NGIS cut the ribbon for the opening of the 90th Micro Market, which is located on the first floor of NGIS Great Lakes. The self-serve facility will be open 24/7 and was designed to help make life a little easier for Sailors staying at NGIS Great Lakes or students living in the nearby barracks. However, anyone on the installation can use the small convenience store, which will carry a variety of small meals, snacks, salads and beverages.
