Jim Kish, director for the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Technological Hazards Division, discussed federal response plans to domestic catastrophic events during a Joint Task Force Civil Support-led tabletop domestic response exercise at Fort Eustis, Va., March 5, 2013. The three-day exercise is intended to allow federal and state military and other federal response organizations to “share knowledge and insight” and “enhance coordination” across agencies, including JTF-CS, the Defense Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) Response Force and the CBRN Response Enterprise. The Fort Eustis-based JTF-CS provides command and control for Department of Defense chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear response forces.
