U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Jeff W. Mathis III, commander, Joint Task Force Civil Support, participates in a JTF-CS-hosted table top exercise with other federal and military domestic responders at Fort Eustis, Va., March 5, 2013. The three-day exercise is intended to allow federal and state military and other federal response organizations to “share knowledge and insight” and “enhance coordination” across agencies, including JTF-CS, the Defense Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) Response Force and the CBRN Response Enterprise. The Fort Eustis-based JTF-CS provides command and control for Department of Defense chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear response forces.
