A U.S. Marine with 1st Intelligence Battalion, I Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group conducts a hasty search during a boat raid course hosted by Amphibious Raids Branch, Expeditionary Operations Training Group, I MEF, at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Jan. 16, 2025. 1st Intel Bn. conducts intelligence operations and functions by organizing, training, and equipping task-organized forces in order to reduce uncertainty and protect the force. The Amphibious Raids Branch with EOTG evaluates small unit leaders on raid force tactics, techniques and procedures to enhance their capabilities in preparation for upcoming deployments.
