U.S. Soldiers, assigned to 41st Combat Engineer Company, 5th Engineering Battalion, 36th Engineer Brigade, board a bus at Fort Bliss, Texas, Jan. 27, 2025. U.S. Northern Command is working together with the Department of Homeland Security to augment U.S. Customs and Border Protection with additional military forces along the southern border.
