Texas Army National Guard Soldiers from the 72nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team and 71st Troop Command prepare to load onto a Texas Air National Guard C-130J Super Hercules at Joint Reserve Base Ellington, Jan. 27, 2025. Two aircrews attached to the 136th Airlift Wing, Texas Air National Guard, flew from their base at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base, Fort Worth in order to facilitate the transport of nearly 200 troops down to the southern border in support of Operation Lone Star.
