In North Carolina, Fort Liberty's mission is to keep U.S. soldiers' mission ready by providing them with the training, education, gear and more to respond quickly to global threats. The Defense Logistics Agency supports the Army Fort by positioning DLA people on-site at specific Posts to provide responsive logistics solutions in support of military readiness. DLA Customer Support Representative, Brenda Johnson, provides a strategic focus to the United States Army Forces Command (FORSCOM). Johnson visited the Fort Liberty Clothing Issue Facility (CIF), where U.S. Army Sergeant Major Demel Anderson, AFSBn Liberty, and William Henderson, Accountable Officer, CIF, showed her a Modular Scalable Vest provided by the DLA Troop Support Clothing and Textiles team.
