250211-N-JM360-1002 CHINHAE, South Korea (Feb. 11, 2025) –Construction Electrician 2nd Class Eric Fleming and Builder 3rd Class Tristan Estridge, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3 Detail Chinhae manually excavate down to the correct depth for the concrete placement at Aikangwon Facility. The project's end-state is to construct a new walkway to ensure meal carts can travel smoothly between the cafeteria and the kindergarten for the residential facility for the mentally and physically disabled. NMCB-3 serves as the stand-in engineering force for Commander, U.S. 7th Fleet, executing high-quality construction operations, activities, and investments, and is capable at the unit-of-action level to support major combat operations in the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command area of responsibility with efficient airfield, waterfront, and advanced base construction.
