250216-N-WO287-1001 SOUDA BAY, Greece (Feb. 16, 2025) Sailors assigned to the “Red Rippers” of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 11, remove an external fuel tank from an F/A-18F Super Hornet on the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) during its transit to Souda Bay, Greece, Feb. 16. USS Harry S. Truman, the flagship of the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group (HSTCSG), is on a scheduled deployment in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations supporting U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa to defend U.S., Allied and partner interests.
