Today’s Industry Day kicked off with a networking lunch featuring presentations from Maj. Gen. Keith D. Reventlow, commanding general, Marine Corps Logistics Command (LOGCOM), Capt. Annette G. Gonzales, operational contracting support officer, Contracts Department, LOGCOM, and Dr. Terry L. Whitaker, director, Office of Small Business Programs, LOGCOM. The day continued with tours of Marine Depot Maintenance Command and Marine Force Storage Command facilities, where industry partners got an up-close look at how we sustain readiness, repair and maintain equipment, and manage logistics at scale.
Industry Day is more than just a networking event—it's also a chance to get a glimpse the challenges and gaps where LOGCOM is seeking innovative solutions. Seeing our operations firsthand allows industry leaders to identify opportunities and capabilities we may not yet realize we need. Their expertise could be the key to unlocking new solutions that enhance sustainment and readiness in ways we haven’t yet imagined.
Maj. Gen. Reventlow captured the spirit of the day perfectly:
“I’m excited for the future. We have work to do – and we must ensure it’s the right work – to support our Marines and Sailors who are forward deployed and may one day face danger, ensuring they have the sustainment and support they need to complete their mission.”
Thank you to all our industry partners who participated today. Your perspective is invaluable in our mission to sustain the force and ensure readiness. #IndustryDay #LogisticsInnovation
