International Fellows from the U.S. Army War College attend a morning discussion with Director Suzanne Puanani Vares-Lum of the Daniel K. Inouye Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies (DKI APCSS), Honolulu, Hawaii, Feb. 21, 2025. The 40 Fellows are part of a International Fellows Program Unified Command Course which exposes them to strategic perspectives and the elements of national power that shape the implementation of the U.S. national security strategy. DKI APCSS is a U.S. Department of Defense institute that addresses regional and global security issues, inviting military and civilian representatives of the United States and Asia-Pacific nations to its comprehensive program of executive education and workshops, both in Hawaii and throughout the Indo-Pacific region.
