A U.S. Army Paratrooper assigned to 189th Division Sustainment Support Battalion, 82nd Airborne Division, applies face paint as part of a patrol lane testing during the 82nd Airborne Division Best Squad Competition on Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Feb. 21, 2025. Competitors are tasked with completing a series of patrol lanes, which requires them to perform tasks such map reading, personnel searching, visual signaling, movement under fire, radio operations and camouflage application.
