Flyers of college students who successfully participated in internship opportunities across the Department of Defense (DoD) were displayed at the Pacific Intelligence and Innovation Initiative (P3I) event held at the Pacific Club in Honolulu, Hawaii Feb. 24, 2025. Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, Hawaii (NAVFAC HI) command information office (CIO), led by Julie Weinstein along with Danette Kapaa and Josh Nelson, served as keynote speakers for the event. P3I is a public-private partnership working to meet the growing demand for a skilled workforce in Hawaii. As part of the DoD, NAVFAC HI CIO speaks about internship opportunities available to college students to fill positions in IT, cyber, electronic warfare and data science fields at NAVFAC HI.
