    Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton

Brig. Gen. Vincent A. Coglianese, reads a book titled “Crow Call” to the children and families of Santa Margarita Elementary School here March 13. Coglianese is the base commanding general and regional authority of five Marine Corps installations in the southwestern United States. The children wrote a letter to Coglianese asking him to be a guest reader. “It’s an honor to be able to read to the children of Marines and sailors,” Coglianese said. “A child may be limited in where they could go physically, but a book can give them the whole world to explore.”
