ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam March 5, 2025 – A P-8A Poseidon assigned to the “Golden Swordsmen” of Patrol Squadron (VP) 47, under Commander, Task Force (CTF) 72, prepares to conduct a search and rescue (SAR) mission. The Golden Swordsman are in Guam participating in Exercise Sea Dragon 2025 a U.S.-led, multinational exercise focused on enhancing anti-submarine warfare capabilities and maritime security cooperation among Indo-Pacific partner nations. Now in its seventh year, Sea Dragon 25 brings together Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft (MPRA) communities from the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), Indian Navy (IN), Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF), Republic of Korea Navy (ROKN), and the United States Navy to address traditional and non-traditional maritime security challenges in the Indo-Pacific region.
