Munson Army Health Center Command Team, Col. Jolanda L.J. Walker and Sgt. Maj. Jason Trevino present federal employee Jarrod Miller, a health center pharmacist, with the Good Catch Award, March 11, during Patient Safety Awareness Week.
At Munson, every member of the team is responsible for patient safety. Miller's is committed to providing the highest quality care, and that includes ensuring prescriptions are safe and accurate. Miller was named MVP for his work implementing procedures to prevent errors and make sure patients receive the correct medication every time. Misinterpretation of medical abbreviations is a leading cause of prescription errors.
By using clear and standardized procedures, Miller helps Munson minimize risks and improve patient safety.
