BREMERTON, Washington—Woodworker Clinton Shields feeds a used cardboard box into a shredding machine at NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound SSP Supply Support Department (Code 502) at Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor. The Code 502 Packing & Crating Division personnel create their own packing materials using a shredding machine that recycles discarded corrugated cardboard. The process, suggested by an employee, saves time and money, and is easier to dispose of at sea. (U.S. Navy photo by Brian J. Davis)
