A sensory light table is on display at the Exceptional Family Member Program Sensory Lending Locker and Library March 20, 2025, at U.S. Army Garrison Humphreys Army Community Service. The light table is designed to support children with special needs, including sensory processing challenges. It can be used with translucent objects, textures, and colors to stimulate sensory exploration.
EFMP offers essential services and advocacy for military families with special needs, ensuring they have access to the resources required for a higher quality of life. Among these resources is the EFMP Sensory Lending Locker and Library, a well-stocked ACS facility featuring more than 1,000 sensory toys and developmental items tailored for children ages 3 to 12.
