NORFOLK (March 20, 2025) Acting Secretary of the Navy Terence Emmert has lunch with Sailors on the mess decks aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1) during a visit to Wasp and the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Ross (DDG 71) at Naval Station Norfolk, March 20, 2025. Commander, Naval Surface Force Atlantic is responsible for manning, training and equipping assigned surface forces and shore activities, ensuring a capable and combat-ready force to support U.S. national interests.
