NORFOLK (March 20, 2025) Rear Adm. Joseph Cahill, Commander, Naval Surface Force Atlantic, crosses the quarterdeck of the Arleigh Burke-class guided- missile USS Ross (DDG 71) during a visit to Ross and the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1) at Naval Station Norfolk, March 20, 2025. Commander, Naval Surface Force Atlantic is responsible for manning, training and equipping assigned surface forces and shore activities, ensuring a capable and combat-ready force to support U.S. national interests.
