Students from Crestwood High School Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps spent the day at U.S. Army Headquarters on Shaw AFB on Wednesday. Led by their military instructor Master Sgt. (retired) Michael Selle, the 40 students were greeted by the ARCENT Commanding General Lt. Gen. Patrick Frank and Command Sgt. Maj. Eric McCray, and then had a full day with a Patton Hall history tour, briefings from soldiers on their careers, vehicle and weapons displays, a military working dog demonstration and they also participated in the Army’s Combat Fitness Test. JROTC’s mission is to develop citizens of character dedicated to serving their nation and community. (U.S. Army photos by Staff Sgt. Devon Jones.)
