Nathan Ricketts, the staff platoon commander for 2nd platoon, is awarded the Staff Platoon Commander Award during a graduation ceremony for Echo Company, Basic Officer Course 5-24, The Basic School at Little Hall, Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia, March 14, 2025. The mission of TBS is to train and educate newly commissioned or appointed officers in the high standard of professional knowledge, esprit-de-corps, and leadership to prepare them for duty as company grade officers in the operating forces, with particular emphasis on the duties, responsibilities, and warfighting skills required of a rifle platoon commander.
