ATLANTIC OCEAN (March 24, 2025) Damage Control 3rd Class Jahir Martinez, from East Palo Alto, California, (left) and Damage Control 3rd Class Thomas Courtright, from Lakeland, Florida, assigned to the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima’s (LHD 7), lubricate a P100 portable pump in Iwo Jima’s hanger bay while underway. Iwo Jima is conducting exercises designed to enhance warfighting effectiveness and interoperability as part of its advanced phase of training at sea.
