MUNICH, Germany – Bundeswehr Col. (Dr.) Christoph Hemme (center), Regional Director of the Medical Support Center Munich, provides oversight of simulated dental surgical training to U.S. Army (Dr.) Col. Scott Rankin (right), commander of Dental Health Command Europe and Sgt. Maj. Carlos Orsini (left). Rankin and members of his staff visited the Bundeswehr Medical Academy in Munich, Germany Mar. 24-26. During their two-day visit, Rankin and his team had the opportunity to observe Bundeswehr dental personnel conduct hands-on simulated dental surgical training and share lessons learned. The visit by the U.S. Army dental team strengthened ties and partnerships with their host-nation counterparts and leveraged best dental surgical practices.
