Musician First Class Brian Kloppenburg of the U.S. Fleet Forces Band has been selected as a Limited Duty Officer (LDO) Bandmaster in the U.S. Navy. MU1 Kloppenburg is a Keyboard Instrumentalist, enlisting in the Navy in 2012. He holds a Bachelor of Music from McKendree University, and has past experience as a High School Band Director in Sedalia, MO. MU1 Kloppenburg is in his second tour with U.S. Fleet Forces Band, having also served in the U.S. Sevent Fleet Band. A graduate of the Unit Leader Course and Live Production Technician's Course at the Naval School of Music, MU1 Kloppenburg is scheduled to commission in March of 2026.
