More than 100 representatives from U.S. Northern Command and across the Department of Defense came together during a five-day planning conference for Exercise Arctic Edge 2025 at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, March 31 through April 4, 2025. The final planning conference focused on finalizing operations and tactical-level planning for exercise execution. Exercise Arctic Edge is an annual U.S. Northern Command-led homeland defense exercise demonstrating the U.S. military’s joint force readiness, capability, and will to prevail in the Arctic region.
