Navy Medicine Readiness Training Command Bremerton held inaugural Sailor 360 training for all active-duty personnel assigned to the command, April 8, 2025. Sailor 360 is the Navy's newest leadership development program, specifically designed to enhance professional growth of both enlisted personnel and officers. The training sessions incorporate presentations from guest speakers, encourage group discussion(s) and cover a variety of operational readiness topics such as leadership, problem-solving, and creative thinking.
According to Master Chief Hospital Corpsman Joshua Akins, NMRTC Bremerton Directorate for Administration leading chief petty officer, Sailor 360 is modeled after the CPO 365 Phase I program, yet is a significant shift in how the Navy cultivates junior leadership through command-level training from junior officer to junior enlisted ranks.
The first Sailor 360 discussion, conducted by Lt. Cmdr. Trinity Dunham, Mental Health Directorate division officer and clinical psychologist, provided overview, training, and registration support on available Mental Health resources from headspace and Talkspace
