LANDSTUHL, Germany – U.S. Army Dental Health Activity Rheinland-Pfalz (DENTAC-RP) held a change of command ceremony April 11 at the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center Fitness Center. The host for the ceremony was U.S. Army Col. (Dr.) Scott Rankin (center), commander of Dental Health Command, Europe. DENTAC-RP bid farewell to the outgoing commander, Col. (Dr.) James Giesen (right) and welcomed Lt. Col. (Dr.) Ryan Allred (left) DENTAC-RP manages dental care and services for approximately 10,000 active duty servicemembers, and other eligible beneficiaries, at five U.S. Army dental clinics in the German states of Rheinland-Pfalz and Hessen as well as U.S. Army dental clinics at SHAPE and NATO Headquarters in Belgium.
