Veterans of the Company A “Wildbunch,” 1st Battalion “Desert Rogues,” 64th Armor Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, gather around the memorial tree for their comrade Staff Sgt. Stevon Booker, here April 6. Booker was killed in action during the first Thunder Run, April 5, 2003. The Rogues have gathered from all over for a reunion on the 10th anniversary of the Thunder Runs, two historical battles that resulted in the U.S. Army ceasing the reign of the old Iraqi regime. Warriors Walk is a living memorial with a tree planted in the memory of every soldier killed during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt. Richard Wrigley, 2nd BCT, 3rd Infantry Division, Public Affairs)
