    U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Justin D. Groom, right, explains the capabilities of the K-12 rescue saw to Philippine Airman 1st Class Michael P. Argueza April 8 at Clark Field, Philippines. Filipino and U.S. firefighters exchanged tactics and techniques to better prepare them for future emergencies. The training was part of exercise Balikatan 2013, an annual bilateral training evolution aimed at ensuring interoperability of the Philippine and U.S. militaries during planning, contingency and humanitarian assistance operations.
