Cpl. Christian A. Brown addresses those in attendance for his Silver Star ceremony after receiving the award May 3, 2013, aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune. Brown deployed with 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in 2011 and received the Silver Star for his leadership and courage while in a firefight on December 7, 2011.
