The command staff of the 2206th and 2208th Mobilization Support Battalions watch as the youngest and oldest soldiers of the battalions, Capt. Ginette Bocanegra and Sgt. 1st Class Lorenzo Sifuentes, make the initial cut into the cake. The anniversary event was celebrated amongst units across the multi-component formation of First Army Division West and the 85th Support Command at a total of six Army installations in the mid-western United States. Celebratory locations included: Fort Hood, Texas; Fort Bliss, Texas; Fort Hunter Liggett, Calif.; Fort McCoy, Wis.; Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash.; and 85th Support Command headquarters based out of Chicago. The event allowed for an opportunity to further expand on the active component and Army Reserve relationship within this unique relationship, and to share the purpose and benefits of Army Reserve ambassadors to Army Reserve units and the community.
