Wasea, commanding general, 2nd Brigade, 215th Corps, and his Afghan National Security Forces counterparts planned and launched Operation Aoqad Se Hasht [38 EAGLE] to push the enemies of Afghanistan out of Sangin. The operation has spanned nearly a week during which ANSF countered the unprovoked attacks, gained the initiative, and advanced from multiple positions to envelope their enemies and forced them into retreat across the Helmand River.
