Lt. Gen. William Faulkner, the deputy commandant of installations and logistics, visits Marine Corps Base Hawaii to inspect the buildings and facilities on base, June 11. Faulkner visited different parts of the base including Kansas Tower, the airfield on Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay, and a newly-constructed barracks where he spoke with junior Marines about their newly-accommodated living quarters. “This is the first opportunity I’ve had to walk around and observe the new construction and existing buildings, and talk to the Marines on Marine Corps Base Hawaii,” Faulkner said. “Coming around and inspecting everything helps me see what’s actually being done and what needs further construction.”
