Quartermaster 2nd Class Stephen Cassidy sends a morse code message using a search light to an approaching fishing vessel as Ensign Emmanuel Zervoudakis waits for a response during an underway replenishment with the amphibious command ship USS Blue Ridge and the Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USS John Ericsson. Blue Ridge serves under Commander, Expeditionary Strike Group 7 Task Force 76, the Navy's only forward-deployed amphibious force. Task Force 76 is headquartered at White Beach Naval Facility, Okinawa, Japan, with an operating detachment in Sasebo, Japan.
