Lance Cpl. Matthew McKillop and Cpl. Jared Smith, both assigned to Naval Medical Center San Diego's (NMCSD) Wounded Warrior Battalion-West detachment, exit an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the Blackjacks of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 21 at NMCSD. HSC-21 is based at Naval Air Station North Island and provided seven Wounded Warriors the opportunity to ride along as a morale booster before conducting search and rescue training.
