Command Master Chief John Carr from Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODM) 1, speaks during his Master Blaster ceremony. The Master Blaster of the Navy was a title established to recognize the enlisted explosive ordnance technician with the longest cumulative record of explosive ordnance assignments and whose service reflects positive credit upon the community. The Master Blaster is the only enlisted sailor in the Navy to wear the distinguished gold master explosive ordnance technician insignia pin.
