The Spartan Memorial was officially unveiled at a ceremony that was held at Fort Drum’s Memorial Park. The statue was dedicated to the Spartan Brigade soldiers who have made the ultimate sacrifice over the last 10 years of war that the Spartans fought in. Nearly 1,000 soldiers from each of the 3rd Brigade Combat Team's six brigades participated in the ceremony. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt. Javier S. Amador)
