Members of the Pacific Fleet Dixie Band, embarked aboard the Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Mercy perform for patients during a Pacific Partnership medical and dental civic action program held at the Dien Khanh Primary School in Nha Trang. This is the first time since 1975 that a U.S. military band has been permitted to perform in Vietnam. The mission involves partnerships with the armed forces of Vietnam, Vietnamese health care professionals, and local government officials.
