Various law enforcement and rescue service agencies from Italy and the U.S. Navy came together for the National Night Out parade aboard Naval Air Station Sigonella, Italy, Aug. 6, 2013. Marines and sailors with Special-Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Africa 13 participated in the event with a static display of weapons, both lethal and non-lethal. Special-Purpose MAGTF Africa continues to build relationships with the community while simultaneously strengthening U.S. Africa Command and U.S. Marine Corps Forces Africa’s ability to assist partner nations in addressing security challenges in the region.
