KHOWST PROVINCE, Afghanistan – More than 50 soldiers from various units from Forward Operating Base Salerno, Afghanistan, participated in a Mud Run obstacle course, March 24.
The two-mile course featured 15 different obstacles that challenged the soldiers physically and mentally, while adding the elements of water and mud to help make the course even more difficult.
The top three teams with the fastest times received Apple iPods that were donated from the FOB Salerno Army Air Force Exchange Service office.
