A combined team of U.S. Air Force and RAAF C-17 aircraft conducted a groundbreaking interoperability mission - a joint capability cargo air drop during Talisman Saber 2013.

Exercise Talisman Saber (July 15 – Aug. 5, 2013) is a major bilateral exercise designed to improve training and interoperability between Australian and United States military forces and other government agencies.
