William Kidd, a section leader in Cherokee Troop, led the training with the assistance of members of 1st Platoon. The training focused on gathering intelligence from a crime scene, while guarding the evidence needed to prosecute criminal cases in accordance with Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan rule of law.
“The ANSF are training hard with us so they are ready to continue providing security to Hairatan City long after ISAF retrograde” said 2nd Lt. David Seery of Michigan, a platoon leader in Cherokee Troop, 6-4 Cavalry.
With Ramazan over, Cherokee Troop is ready to continue to increase the number of combined training exercises with the ANSF to ensure a seamless transition during International Security Assistance Force retrograde.
