    FORT BELVOIR, Va. - The Air Force’s most senior noncommissioned officer, Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force James Cody, made his first visit to DTRA/SCC-WMD/SJFHQ-E on Sept. 10 to meet with agency/center leadership and address more than one hundred Military and Civilian employees who turned out in full force to greet him.

    Escorted by Command Senior Enlisted Leader (CSEL) Sgt. Maj. Howard Long and retired CSEL Sgt. Maj. Scott Mykoo, Cody was briefed on the agency/center’s various missions and had an opportunity to tour the headquarters facility and lead a town hall meeting with Military and Civilians from across the agency/center.

    “Today, I’d like to take the opportunity to discuss some of the changes taking place in our Military and the Air Force,” said Cody. “Additionally, I’d like to hear what’s on your mind and answer any questions you might have, so that I can go back and tell the

    Of the Air Force specifically, Cody said, “America’s Air Force no longer has the benefit of numbers on our side, so we’re working every day to enhance the skills of our enlisted personal through various learning programs.” He continued saying, “We’re also working to get the work-life balance right by asking ourselves how every decision affects our Airman and their families.”

    DTRA/SCC-WMD/SJFHQ-E regularly hosts distinguished guests including, DoD senior leadership, Military service leaders, White House staffers, U.S. and foreign ambassadors and leading academics. They visit the agency/center to meet senior leadership and staff, share professional expertise, and learn more about our missions and how we can work together.
